Concepted to highlight the light and airy atmosphere of the West Coast, Mission + Market’s interior design is by partner Tony Akly and his Restaurants Consulting Group, an award-winning, full-service design-build firm. Upon entering, guests are greeted with a bar and lounge area filled with plush blue velvet, black leather, and brass accents. The bar and lounge area is delineated by an electric green living moss wall, which echoes the natural elements found in both the design and the food. The 5,000-square-foot space continues with the main dining area, which features soaring ceilings, a chef’s counter, an extensive patio, and private event space that can be configured in several ways. Midcentury and natural accents provide kisses of depth in the bright area, which has some of the best views of Buckhead from its patio.

Mission + Market’s design, by Restaurant Consulting Group, is grounded in natural concepts, accented by midcentury flourishes. A living moss wall gets a modern finish with brass light fixtures, for example, creating an organic yet refined look.

The main dining room is flanked by a chef’s counter, where guests can see Chef Ian Winslade and his team at work. Touches of dark, romantic wood and plush blue velvet help bring attention to the brightness and airiness of the space.
